As our Spatial Information Officer, you’ll play a key role in capturing new land parcels, maintaining property and road data, and ensuring the integrity of Council’s spatial systems. Guided by our Values, you will:
Work within the Spatial team to maintain the accuracy and integrity of corporate spatial, land and infrastructure asset information datasets.
Maintain road names, property addresses and land parcel attributes to satisfy the information requirements of Council for rating purposes.
Have the ability to interpret survey plans supplied as part of the land development process.
We would love to hear from you or someone you know who:
Has demonstrated knowledge of land and cadastral information systems, including survey coordinate systems, as well as cartographic mapping concepts.
Is familiar with the ESRI suite of spatial information systems – Arcmap and ArcGIS Pro.
Has understanding of Survey Plans and the land development process via boundary reconfiguration (subdivision).
May have experience with the Local Government Council enterprise solutions, with RCC's primary corporate system being TechnologyOne.
Has high level communication skills and exceptional customer service to assist with processing of public requests for street addressing issues, data supply as well as internal requests from Council officers in assisting with general mapping and street addressing issues.
