Join our team as a Survey Project Officer
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey Project Officer to join our Survey Services Unit (SSU). This primarily administration-based role involves supporting a range of survey projects, providing expert advice on survey and land tenure matters, and assisting the Project Delivery Group’s works program through project coordination, financial administration, and technical support. If you’re highly organised, detail-focused, and enjoy making a tangible impact in a collaborative team, we’d love for you to apply!
Your responsibilities will include:
Administer and support a range of survey projects, including contractor engagement, site visits, and risk management.
Provide accurate administrative and financial support to the team, including budgets, reporting, and day-to-day operations.
Prepare clear advice and documentation on survey, land tenure, development conditions, and permits.
Maintain records, file structures, and systems to ensure compliance and efficient project delivery.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping enhance processes, systems, and service delivery.
Skills and experience:
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, consistently meeting deadlines while ensuring full compliance with standards
Strong financial and administrative skills, including budgeting and reporting.
Ability to provide clear technical advice and interpret data for reporting.
Comfortable with documentation, compliance, and computer systems.
Collaborative problem-solver with strong time management and organisational skills.
