About the Role

We have created a Operations Manager role for our clients, a National Insurance Construction business. As such we are on the hunt for an experienced Construction Operations Manager to join their team based on the Sunshine Coast.

Ideally you are already participating in strategy and implementation across construction and have a grasp on how the administrative function works.

The role will cover implementing already in place strategic initiatives. Covering management of the administration teams and driving organisational changes.

Key Responsibilities

Review and act on internal reports to ensure performance targets are achieved

Manage, onboard, train, and mentor team members to build capability and cohesion

Oversee day-to-day operations

Forecast, plan, and set performance targets

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop business strategy

Maintain strong communication with key stakeholders including clients, brokers, and insurers

About You

5+ years’ experience in the insurance (or) construction sector

Proven background in a people-focused leadership role

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills

Strong communicator, confident with clients, staff, and regulatory bodies

Track record of building high-performing teams and exceeding KPIs

Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications to support your experience
