Due to continued rapid growth, our client is looking to appoint a Chief People Officer - someone who can help their people grow as fast as their business.

About the Role

As Chief People Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our client's success story, leading the full spectrum of People & Culture across a dynamic, multi site organisation. From designing future ready workforce strategies to embedding safety, wellbeing, and inclusion into everything they do - this is your chance to lead with impact.

Reporting to the COO and working closely with the CEO, you’ll combine strategic vision with hands on leadership. You’ll lead an enthusiastic P&C team, drive business aligned initiatives, and ensure people, systems and policies are ready for the next stage of growth.

What You’ll Do

Shape and deliver a bold, scalable people strategy aligned with growth plans

Ensure compliance with workplace laws and lead WHS initiatives across all sites

Lead high performing recruitment and talent pipelines

Champion a culture of inclusivity, engagement and wellbeing

Design compensation, benefits and performance frameworks that attract and retain top talent

Drive strategic workforce planning and organisational development

Lead key projects and bring big picture thinking to life

Be a trusted advisor to the executive team and a visible leader across the business

What You Bring

7+ years in broad, senior HR roles - ideally in retail, FMCG, or other fast paced, consumer facing environments

Proven experience in high growth businesses

Deep knowledge of Australian employment law, WHS and industrial relations

A future focused mindset and the drive to build agile, scalable people systems

Empathy, resilience, and a hands on, energetic leadership style

Bonus points for experience in geographically dispersed teams
