Join an iconic Queensland organisation as the People & Culture Manager where you will play a key role in shaping workplace culture and employee experience across their dispersed Queensland workforce. This is a hands-on role supported by a P&C Administrator, ideal for a people-focused HR professional who enjoys both strategy and delivery.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead the design and implementation of People & Culture initiatives that supports employee engagement, safety and wellbeing. From embedding values and leading organisational development projects, to ensuring strong WHS compliance and managing the full employee lifecycle, you’ll make a genuine impact on both people and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead organisational development initiatives such as employee engagement surveys and workshops.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement and high performance through values-led people strategies and employee benefits.

Oversee the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and learning & development.

Coach and mentor managers to achieve a productive and engaged workplace culture.

Involvement in the Workday HRIS implementation.

Champion Work Health & Safety, coordinating compliance, reporting, and wellbeing initiatives.

Partner with the ELT to ensure P&C initiatives align with business strategy.

About You

You are a confident and approachable HR professional who thrives in an autonomous role and enjoys variety in your work. You’ll bring:

Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline.

3 – 5 years’ HR generalist experience in a professional environment.

Strong knowledge WHS legislation and practices.

Proven experience delivering organisational development and engagement initiatives.

Workday HRIS implementation system experience (highly regarded)

A people-first mindset, with the ability to balance empathy and business outcomes.
