About the role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play an essential role in providing safe, high-quality and person-centred care across a variety of health service settings. This position offers the opportunity to grow from a novice practitioner into a proficient professional, consolidating your knowledge and skills through continuous learning and experience. You will be supported to develop your practice, while making a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families.
In this role, you will accept accountability for your own standards of nursing care and for the delegation of activities to others. Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to a supportive and compassionate environment, ensuring the highest standards of practice and patient outcomes are achieved.
About You
You will be a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who brings both clinical expertise and a collaborative spirit to the role. With a strong commitment to patient-centred care, you will demonstrate professional accountability and the ability to adapt within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Qualifications – Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible to hold) a current practising certificate.
Skills and Attributes – Effective communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, prioritise workloads, and demonstrate flexibility and innovation in your approach.
Experience – Proven competence in the relevant area of nursing practice, in line with professional standards.
Knowledge – Sound understanding of the Registered Nurse role within healthcare, relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice, as well as quality improvement systems.
