- 10% attraction and retention addition to base salary
About the role
Are you a skilled and accredited sonographer with a passion for clinical excellence and professional development? SA Medical Imaging is looking for a Specialist Sonographer to join our high-performing team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. In this advanced clinical role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality ultrasound services across a variety of complex procedures. You will work with autonomy while collaborating with radiologists, clinicians, and other imaging professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you’ll play a key role in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives within the department. You’ll contribute to training programs, lead service development projects, and support innovation in ultrasound techniques and standards. About You
You're an experienced and accredited medical sonographer who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centred setting.
Accredited Medical Sonographer (ASAR) with a relevant postgraduate qualification in ultrasound
Extensive experience performing a wide range of ultrasound imaging, including complex and specialist procedures
Demonstrated skills in clinical education, professional collaboration, and continuous quality improvement
Required compliance with current National Police Check, Working With Children Check, and immunisation requirements
