Contract Site Manager – Fit Out Project | Canberra | November Start

The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Contract Site Manager to oversee a commercial fit out project in Canberra. The project kicks off in November and will run for approximately 3 months.
You’ll be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is delivered on time, safely, and to a high standard of finish. This role would suit someone with a strong fit out background who’s comfortable leading subcontractors and driving program on tight timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and programme adherence
• Coordinate trades, deliveries, and site logistics
• Liaise with the Project Manager and client representatives
• Manage site documentation and compliance requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience delivering commercial fit out or refurbishment projects
• Trade background (ideally carpentry)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Canberra-based or able to travel for the duration of the project
