Star Aviation has been operating since 1985 and provides aircraft charter and FIFO services to our government and mining clients throughout Western Australia.

As an operations coordinator based at our in Jandakot Terminal you will play a crucial team role in supporting the seamless operations of our growing aviation business. Your organisational expertise and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring our clients receive the best of service and a seamless transport experience.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating daily flight operations.

Liaising with clients and providing aircraft charter quotations, managing bookings, and updating weekly aircraft and crew scheduling through our online booking platform.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to flight operations.

Providing administrative support to the flight operations team, including assisting with any aviation regulations and company compliance reports.

Assisting with the implementation of operational policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

Proven experience in an administrative or operations coordination role, preferably within the aviation industry

Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders

Proficient in the use of relevant software applications, such as used for flight quotations and similar scheduling systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work

A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond quickly to changing operational requirements

Current ASIC card, or the ability to obtain one.
