Restifa & Partners is a small, family-owned consultancy firm with over 42 years of experience in providing comprehensive Development and Project Management services for commercial property developments across Australia. Based in Ultimo, NSW. We handle projects in various sectors, including residential, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, and aged care, but primarily we work in Retail. Our clients range from individual landowners to institutional investors, including AMP, Stockland, Woolworths, Coles, and Lend Lease.

Role Overview:

Due to expansion of our business we are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, providing hands-on experience in every step of project delivery. You will report directly to Senior Project Managers and be involved in tasks such as Tenancy Co-ordination, Design Management, Development Approvals, Tendering, Contract Superintendence, and Operational Handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the design and fitout of retail and industrial tenants within broader projects.

Travel to various construction sites in NSW to meet with tenants and builders.

Assist Senior Project Managers with larger projects, including Authority Approvals, Design Development, and Project Delivery.

Attend meetings with Architects, Engineers, and Councils, navigating the DA process.

Conduct site inspections and liaise with Tenants, Builders, and building managers.

Update and maintain project documentation and schedules.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be a bright, motivated individual eager to learn on the job. You should have excellent presentation and communication skills and ideally possess relevant tertiary qualifications. Direct experience in the design or delivery of commercial development or construction projects is highly desirable. This experience could come from roles such as Junior Project Manager, Tenancy Coordinator, Architect, Design Manager, or Site Cadet.

Skills and Qualifications:

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Design, or a related field.

Strong presentation and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proactive and motivated with a keen attention to detail.

Experience in commercial development or construction projects.

Willingness to travel to construction sites within NSW.

Valid driver's license.
