About the role

Our client is seeking a contractor to join their inspection team. As a Building & Pest Inspector, you’ll focus on pre-purchase inspections, identifying defects, assessing compliance, and preparing detailed reports that ensure safe property transactions.

Duties

• Identify structural defects, safety risks & compliance issues
• Conduct pre-purchase inspections (majority of workload)
• Produce detailed reports with actionable recommendations
• Inspect subfloors, roof cavities & external roofing areas
• Liaise with clients to provide professional guidance

Skills & Experience

• Experience in building and/or pest inspections
• Certified in Timber Pest Management (CPPUPM3008 & CPPUPM3010) — or willingness to enrol
• Builder’s or Site Supervisor’s Licence + Master Builders Residential Inspectors Licence
• Strong reporting skills & attention to detail
• Police clearance, driver’s licence & reliable vehicle
