About the role
Our client is seeking a contractor to join their team as a Building & Pest Inspector. You’ll conduct mostly pre-purchase inspections, identify risks, prepare detailed reports, and support safe, compliant property transactions across a growing portfolio.

Duties

• Identify structural defects, safety risks & compliance issues
• Complete pre-purchase inspections across residential properties
• Produce detailed reports with clear recommendations
• Inspect subfloors, roof cavities & external roofing areas
• Liaise with clients to deliver professional guidance

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in building and/or pest inspections
• Timber Pest certification (CPPUPM3008 & CPPUPM3010) — or willing to enrol
• Builder’s or Site Supervisor’s Licence + Master Builders Residential Inspectors Licence
• Strong attention to detail & high-quality reporting skills
• Physically fit to conduct inspections; police clearance, driver’s licence & reliable vehicle
