About the role

Salty Dog Hotel Kingston Beach is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Front of House - Customer Service professional to join our dynamic hospitality team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they enjoy a seamless and memorable experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

What you'll be doing

Welcoming and greeting guests warmly upon arrival

Providing exceptional customer service and attending to guest queries and requests

Handling reservations, taking orders, and processing payments accurately

Maintaining a clean and well-organised front of house area

Assisting the bartenders and kitchen staff as needed

Ensuring all health, safety and licensing regulations are adhered to

Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years previous experience in a hospitality based customer-facing role

Candidates with management experience highly valued, with a management role also available

Must be available and willing to work a mix of nights, weekends and public holidays

Candidates must be available and willing to work over the Christmas and New Year period (Salty Dog is closed on Christmas Day).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing outstanding service

Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

A friendly, positive, and professional attitude

A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
