We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Customer Service professional to take on the role of Customer Service Officer.

This full time role commences as casual and moves to permanent full time after successful completion of the probation period. Level 3 Clerks Award.

The primary functions of this role will include but are not limited to:

Handling phone and email enquiries

General administration

Customer Service support for all depots

Updating customer database

Resolving customer complaints

Ensuring complete customer satisfaction

Processing customer requests

Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Be a supportive and effective member of the Road Runners team

Processing customer EFT payments

Other tasks as directed

Experience in similar customer service role

Good understanding of safe work practices in a transport environment

Ability to ensure compliance with workplace practices and procedures

Good literacy and numeracy skills

Computer literacy

Accurate data entry skills

Clear and accurate communication skills

Time Management skills

Completing tasks with timeliness and accuracy

Ability to set and meet deadlines

Deal with clients, suppliers and other employees professionally at all times

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Transport experience advantageous but not essential
