About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Site Foreman / Project Manager to join Re Con Building Group.

This is not an office job—you’ll be on the tools daily, leading carpentry and building tasks while coordinating subcontractors and overseeing projects on site. You’ll be working directly with the builder and clients.

Our projects are spread across Sydney, with a strong focus in the Hills District and North Shore. To perform the role effectively, applicants must have their own ute and tools.

What You’ll Do

Work on the tools—carpentry and general building tasks.

Lead and manage subcontractors to ensure quality and timelines are met.

Communicate with clients and provide clear updates on progress.

Organise materials and deliveries to keep projects running smoothly.

Maintain WHS standards and site safety at all times.

Problem-solve on site to keep projects moving forward.

Who We’re Looking For

Must-Have:

Qualified carpenter (or extensive carpentry experience).

Proven ability to run projects and coordinate trades.

Should-Have:

Leadership experience (running a small team, managing subs, or site supervision).

Experience with project management software (Wunderbuild a plus).

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Bonus If You Have:

Previous foreman / site supervisor experience.

Estimating or pricing knowledge.

Ambition to grow into a higher-level management role over time.

Own ute and tools

Won’t-Have:

Purely office-based PM background.

Weak communication or “lone wolf” mindset.

Negative attitude that drags the team down.
