Design & Build are working with a residential builder who is on the hunt for a Site Manager to join their team. They are a growing business, quickly establishing themselves in the market and building a reputation for excellence. The team is made up of professionals who bring years of high-end residential experience to the work they do.

This is an opportunity to work on bespoke residential renovations and extensions across Melbourne. Their projects typically range up to $2m, and you will be involved in a single build from start to finish. Whether you're an experienced Site Manager or a Leading Hand ready to step up, if you have a strong attention to detail and take pride in quality craftsmanship, this could be your ideal next step. You’ll be joining a social team and a business dedicated to maintaining a great culture for its employees.

What the role will involve:

• Managing all on-site activities for a single project
• Overseeing the construction of bespoke residential homes
• Keeping the build on track, on budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Leading a team and coordinating trusted subcontractors
• Utilising various construction systems as needed
• Being involved in the project from inception through to handover
• Liaising with on-site teams, architects, clients, and external stakeholders

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum 5 years of residential experience
• Experience in bespoke renovations, extensions, and/or heritage builds
• Trade background
• Well set up – tools and reliable vehicle
• Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
• Reliable and eager to learn
• Excellent communication skills
