As we continue to grow, we're on the lookout for an experienced and personable Estimator to join the team and work directly alongside our Director, Mathew.

The Role

This isn’t just a numbers role — we’re after someone with at least 10 years of estimating experience in residential building who’s confident being a key part of the sales process, project procurement, and project management support.

You’ll be Mathew’s right-hand person, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and the rest of our team to ensure our projects are accurately costed, efficiently managed, and delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs for residential projects (and the occasional townhouse development)

Analyse architectural plans and documentation to produce detailed tenders

Participate in client consultations during pre-construction

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

Support the sales process with costings and feasibility studies

Assist in procurement strategy and subcontractor selection

Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure budgets are maintained and projects run smoothly

About You

Minimum 10 years’ experience as an Estimator in the building and construction industry

Strong understanding of residential construction methods and practices

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset

Comfortable liaising directly with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

Proficient in estimating software (Excel, Buildxact, Cubit, CostX, or similar)

Bonus points for project management or procurement experience
