About the role

Join the dynamic team at Arca Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd as a Broker Assistant. In this full-time position located in Camberwell VIC 3124, you will play a vital role in supporting our experienced brokers in delivering exceptional insurance solutions to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

Assist brokers with the placement and renewal of insurance policies

Liaise with insurers and clients to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and facilitate policy documentation

Manage client records and ensure accurate data is maintained in our systems

Provide exceptional customer service and support to both internal and external stakeholders

Participate in the development and implementation of new procedures and initiatives

Contribute to the overall growth and success of the insurance brokerage

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have excellent proficiency in both English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Conversational level Chinese language proficiency is required

The ideal candidate will have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Demonstrated experience in an administrative or customer service role within the insurance industry or other industries

A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or customer service experience is required

Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights to be eligible for this position

Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail

A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
