With a strong reputation for excellence in both residential and commercial lending, they are currently seeking an experienced Mortgage Broking Assistant to join their high-performing team.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end loan process—from initial client contact through to loan approval. This role plays a critical part in supporting brokers, maintaining compliance, and ensuring a seamless client experience. You will also act as the face of company, greeting clients and answering any enquiries that come through.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and assess loan documentation from clients
• Prepare residential and commercial loan recommendations for broker approval
• Submit loan applications and follow up with lenders until unconditional approval
• Maintain accurate client file notes and handovers to other internal teams
• Liaise with external stakeholders including lenders, valuers, and accountants
• Support brokers during client and lender meetings when required
• Stay current with lender products, policy updates, and compliance changes
• Provide support to the wider team as required
• Assist across other operational roles during busy periods or staff leave

Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate will be someone wanting to build a career in Mortgage Broking, who has a great attitude and passionate about providing high end support. You will ideally possess the following:

• Previous lending/Mortgage Broking experienced is not essential, but highly advantageous
• Strong financial analysis and report writing skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong customer service focus and professional phone manner
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
• A problem-solver with initiative and a positive attitude
