Overview

• Provide specialist sourcing expertise in relation to licensing arrangements to ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements, policies and procedures and support the achievement of high-quality, cost-effective, value for money outcomes.

Skills
Assist the Team Leader Procurement to implement and monitor appropriate procurement systems and practices to ensure a high degree of compliance, probity and advice to Business Units.

Primary purpose
- Prepared Assist the Procurement Unit to deliver an efficient and effective procurement service to Council's
- To administer Council's end to end procurement process
- In accordance with legislative and governance requirements.
- Contribute to the timely fulfilment of the annual procurement delivery program.
- The preparation and publishing of procurement documents in accordance with legislation
- Council's procurement policies/procedures, including established insurance, WH&S and environmental policies.
- Publish and manage procurement documents, using electronic or automated processess
- Assist with the administration of the contract registers and vendor panels
- Maintain contract management records and documentation in Council's document management system.
- Assist and support other members of the Procurement Unit in delivering services to Business Units.
