APEX Australia Vocational and Higher Education is an established and leading provider of Vocational and Higher Education courses to international students. We are currently undergoing a strong growth phase and adding staff, campuses and courses to help us achieve our strategic goals. APEX is seeking a Marketing and Student Recruitment Officer to drive our digital and physical transformation in Melbourne.
The Student Recruitment and Marketing Officer, reporting to the CEO, is responsible for the College’s enrolments, marketing, communication, and events in Melbourne.
The Role
We are seeking a resourceful person with a strong drive to deliver growth within the team. As the Marketing and Student Recruitment Officer, you will work closely with agents, students, and industry partners to develop targeted marketing campaigns to promote the APEX brand and achieve student recruitment and enrolment targets.
As a Marketing and Student Recruitment Manager you are expected to have:
Minimum 3 years professional experience in international education sector
Digital marketing experience in the international education sector in sales and marketing (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube etc.)
Multi-channel marketing experience in the international education sector
Demonstrated knowledge of the ELICOS, VET and Higher Education sectors and current Australian immigration policies
Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales forecast and targeted student numbers
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with industry partners, agents and students
Organised, detail oriented with ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
Willingness to travel interstate or overseas if required
Strong connections with immigration agents focussed on the sub-continent.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Develop and implement marketing and student recruitment strategies to promote the Apex Australia brand.
Set and track marketing and student recruitment key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with overarching objectives.
Build relationships with new and existing agents, international and domestic partners, and other stakeholders
Visiting agents and partners and improving relations
Digital literacy skills for creating marketing materials, sourcing data, and handling documents through various reporting channels.
Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking and working effectively under pressure
Desirable:
Dual sector experience
Familiar with Australian government regulatory requirements related to international education
Knowledge of IT and related student administration/finance systems
Customer Relationship Management System (CRMS) understanding (advantage)
IT Skills associated with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel
