Subcontractor Bookkeeper – Northern Beaches

$45 per hour | Minimum 8 hours per week (with view to increase to 20 hours)

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented subcontractor bookkeeper to join our Northern Beaches team. This role is perfect for someone local (perhaps a mum re-entering the workforce or looking for steady part-time hours) who enjoys taking ownership, working with a supportive team, and balancing work and family life.

About the Role

• About 8 hours per week to start, suit school hours, with the potential to grow to 20 hours

• Flexible working arrangements (majority WFH)

• Half day per week in our office on the Northern Beaches

• Rate: $45 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and BAS preparation tasks

• Payroll processing, accounts payable & receivables

• Using Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks and Karbon (happy to train in Karbon if new)

• Minimum 1-2 years of QuickBooks experience required

• Communicating clearly with team members and clients

• Taking responsibility for accurate, timely work

• Solving problems with a steady, accountable approach

About You

• 6+ years bookkeeping experience (BAS and payroll essential)

• Confident with Xero (Karbon experience an advantage)

• Strong communicator who is responsive and dependable

• Comfortable learning new systems

• Stable, steady, and committed, you value getting things right

• Enjoy contributing to a supportive, local team

• Must be an Australian citizen
