About the role

As the Bar Manager at Annie Lewis Winehouse', you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This full-time role is based in our vibrant Richmond, Victoria location. You will be responsible ensuring smooth and efficient bar service as well as leading a small team.

What you'll be doing

Oversee bar inventory, ordering and stock management to maintain optimal product levels

Create and implement bar service procedures and policies to ensure consistent high quality

Develop and maintain bar menus, cocktail recipes and wine lists to showcase the venue's offerings

Monitor and analyse bar sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor licensing and health and safety regulations

Liaise with suppliers and distributors to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a senior bartending role within the hospitality industry

Strong leadership and people management skills

Excellent knowledge of bar operations, including inventory management, budgeting and cost control

Strong wine knowledge and/or interest

Creative flair for developing new and innovative cocktail recipes and bar menus

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and presentation

Passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to provide an exceptional customer experience
