Full time NDIS Planning Coordinator role

Level 3 SCHADS Award Rate Salary
$76,000 plus
The NDIS Planning Coordinator Reports to the NDIS Planning Manager, primarily providing support in the areas of participant NDIS funding management, NDIA service agreements and quotes, resolving NDIA errors, NDIS billing and NDIS timetabling and rostering (including staff replacement) under programs of support.
Tasks and Capabilities
Working under general direction indicative tasks may include but not limited to:
NDIS planning tasks
▪ Co-ordinate service agreements for existing participants and ensure these are signed for each participant
▪ Oversee participant database information relating to the NDIA
▪ Ensure that participant quotes and service agreements are correct and communicate to confirm in line with a participant’s plan
▪ Monitor billing entries and funding to pick up overspends
▪ Liaise with team leaders/managers to resolve issues with service agreements and quotes.
▪ Review NDIA funding implications for participants
▪ Liaise as required to NDIA in relation to participants and their plans.

▪ Review NDIA error reports and, resolve errors in line with participant plans
▪ Report any errors that arise that may affect the organisation to manager
▪ Update & maintain Participant spreadsheets- Plan end dates
▪ Work within the funding levels associated with each participant, continually tracking and monitoring service agreements
▪ Coordinate NDIS funding claims through Quickclaims
▪ Coordinate the intake and development of Service Agreements for new Araluen participants.
▪ Responding to enquiries from potential referrers and new participants in a timely manner
▪ Assisting participants and families to understand and maximise the potential of NDIS planning for positive participant outcomes.
▪ Enter irregular supports by house on a weekly basis
▪ Liaise with other departments to provide information and support on Visicase
▪ Maintain exit and amendment register
Key Selection Criteria
Experience
• Previous experience in administration
• Previous experience in data collection

• Observes, understands and takes appropriate action on participant changes.
• Accurately completes financial and participant-related paperwork and records in a timely manner.
• Comply with all Araluen policies, procedures and practices and all applicable laws and industrial agreements that govern our business and conduct and seek clarification where needed.
