Based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, you'll take ownership of our client e-commerce program . You will be responsible for design, developing, and maintaining our clients e-commerce platform and assisting in front end development of associated applications.

About You

You will be joining a small team who are passionate about providing great customer service. Excellent English skills (written and verbal) and problem-solving abilities are the critical to your success in this role. You must be a proactive, hands-on developer preferably with experience with Shopify and React

You will be a dynamic and driven personality, with a passion for learning. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and capable of operating in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work unsupervised is critical and a hybrid work environment will be offered after the 6 months

Role Overview:

Design, build, and manage our Shopify environment.

Create responsive and intuitive client websites.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative features to life.

Ensure high standards in code quality, security, and performance.

Troubleshoot and optimize existing software systems to enhance performance.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in website development, with a strong background in building web Applications from Scratch.

Minimum 2-3 years proven experience in website development, with a strong background in building web applications from scratch. Experience with Shopify and React preferred but not essential for the right candidate

Detailed understanding of E-commerce

Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment with a team of developers.

Ability to write clean and reusable code; following best coding practices.

Proficiency in React and front-end frameworks like Angular.

Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Proficiency with Git version control systems

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Desirable Experience

Shopify or React web design

Point of Sales Systems or retail experience

Interfacing with Rest / other Web APIs.
