The role

Cloudcon Pty Ltd is seeking a talented QA Engineer (Mobile & Web, Manual-Focused) to join our team. In this full-time role based in Abbotsford, VIC, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile and web applications through comprehensive manual testing.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual testing of mobile and web applications, focusing on end-to-end workflows.

Validate configurable modules across multiple tenants, ensuring rules/scripts behave as expected.

Design, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, scenarios, and exploratory tests.

Identify and document defects, usability issues, and performance gaps, with clear reproduction steps.

Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to embed QA practices into sprints.

Contribute to building automation coverage (Appium, Playwright, etc.) as part of a gradual shift towards automation.

Support release readiness by running regression tests and validating hotfixes.

Provide feedback on QA processes and help foster a QA mindset across the team.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience in manual software testing, preferably in an agile environment (we move very quicky in a fast-paced release cycle)

Strong understanding of testing methodologies, principles, and techniques for mobile and web applications

Proficiency in creating and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts

Experience in defect tracking and reporting, and the ability to communicate effectively with development teams

Familiarity with automation tools and the ability to write automated tests

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills

Strong communication and collaboration abilities
