About the business
At Naughty Nancy's, we deliver exceptional modern Australian pub food right in the heart of the vibrant Chapel Street. We are open from Wednesday to Sunday, with daily specials and the best Sunday Roast in the area.
We are looking for a full time Sous chef who has flexible availability including evenings and weekends for 38 hours per week.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:
Assist Senior Chefs to deliver and maintain standards with all food preparation and service.
Passionate about food & a good knowledge of local food trends, as well as some knowledge of traditional Irish/European cuisine.
Assistance in creating and finishing dishes for social media content.
Competency in menu writing & creation.
Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene & HACCP requirements.
Good knowledge of kitchen budgeting.
Skills and experience
Minimum 2 years in a chef role
Good time management skills
Experience with social media and polishing dishes
A good knowledge of modern pub food trends as well as the traditional classics
Experience in menu creation
