Materials Coordinator (Offshore Oil & Gas)

Are you a highly experienced Materials Coordinator with a background in offshore Oil & Gas projects? We are seeking a proactive, organized, and safety-focused individual to take charge of planning, coordinating, and managing all materials, equipment, tools, and consumables across key offshore work scopes. This role is critical to the successful execution of Brownfield and maintenance campaigns and involves both office-based preparation and offshore execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead pre-starts and toolbox meetings for materials coordination.

Plan and ensure the timely availability of materials and equipment as per the project schedule.

Maintain accurate location records and manage inventory for all materials offshore.

Develop and maintain offshore materials laydown plans and manifests.

Act as the offshore focal point for material requests and liaise with onshore logistics and procurement.

Ensure SPMat and SAP systems are kept up to date with material tracking and backload information.

Supervise and support offshore materials teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Interface with deck crews for loading/unloading and coordinate with engineering, planning, and procurement teams onshore.

Deliver daily and weekly reporting on material status and KPIs.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 10 years experience in materials management within offshore Oil & Gas projects.

Proven track record coordinating offshore Brownfield campaigns and managing large inventories.

Strong hands-on experience with SPMat (MARIAN) and SAP systems.

Excellent administrative and supervisory capabilities.

Understanding of DG handling, SDS reviews, and HSE practices.

BOSIET certification essential (or willing to obtain).

Personal Attributes

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Highly organized, with a proactive and delivery-focused mindset.

Ability to supervise a team effectively in challenging offshore environments.

Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
