Step into a crucial role as a Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator and play a crucial role in managing permit systems for a major offshore hook-up and commissioning project. Initially based in Perth, you'll transition to a short stint offshore before embarking on a 3x3 FIFO offshore role. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the issuance, tracking, and closure of permits, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing expert guidance on PTW processes. About the role
- Manage and coordinate the Permit to Work (PTW) system to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.
 - Oversee the issuance, tracking, and closure of permits, ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained and filed.
 - Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on PTW processes and safety protocols.
 - Collaborate with various departments to facilitate smooth and efficient permit processes, addressing any issues that arise.
 - Conduct regular audits and reviews of the PTW system to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous compliance.
 - Act as the primary point of contact for all PTW-related inquiries and issues, providing expert advice and solutions.
 - Ensure all PTW activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
 - Support the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures related to the PTW system.
 
About the candidate
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in oil and gas operations, with at least 5 years as a Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator.
 - Proven expertise in managing and coordinating Permit to Work systems within the oil and gas sector.
 - Strong training delivery and presentation skills to effectively communicate PTW processes and safety protocols.
 - Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple permits and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
 - Attention to detail to ensure all permits are accurately documented and filed.
 - Problem-solving skills to address and resolve any issues that arise during the permit process.
 - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
 - Strong leadership skills to guide and support team members in the permit process.
 - Proficiency in using IT systems and software to manage permit documentation and communication.
 - Experience with oil and gas sector projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements.
