We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate professional to coordinate and facilitate our You with Me program an early childhood initiative designed to support parents and carers of children aged 2–4 years in enhancing their child’s development through everyday play and learning.

About the Role
In this rewarding role, you’ll plan and deliver engaging group sessions that promote learning, connection, and fun for families. Working closely with a Family Support Worker, Wanslea’s allied health professionals, and early childhood educators, you’ll create a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment that empowers families to build confidence and strengthen relationships with their children.
You’ll also play an important role in ensuring the program runs smoothly from coordinating session logistics and monitoring participation, to maintaining accurate records and contributing to ongoing service improvement. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and their families within a collaborative, values-driven organisation.
About You
You are a warm, engaging professional who is passionate about supporting families and promoting early childhood development. You bring a sound understanding of how children learn through play and are skilled at creating inclusive environments that celebrate diversity and encourage parent–child interaction.
Your background may be in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy), Early Childhood Education, or a related field and you have experience facilitating group-based programs for young children and their carers. You communicate with empathy, build positive relationships easily, and collaborate effectively with a range of professionals to achieve the best outcomes for families.
You’re also organised and proactive, able to balance program delivery with the administrative and reporting requirements that ensure quality and accountability. Most importantly, you are committed to continuous learning, cultural awareness, and helping every family feel supported and empowered.

About Wanslea
Wanslea promotes community, family, and individual development through partnerships and services
Families and children have been at the heart of Wanslea since the organisation was established in 1943. They are still the focus of our entire organisation, which has now grown to offer services in four key areas.
•Family Support
•Out of Home Care
•Community Capacity Building
•Child Care
Through the commitment of our dedicated staff, who share our values, we are now able to reach out to families located across the Perth Metropolitan area, the Peel, Great Southern and Goldfields regions. Greater access means that we are able to help more families with a range of professional and support services.
It also means that we can be there for the children when they need us. It may be for one night because a parent is ill or it could be for long-term foster care. As always our focus is on the well being of the child. We don’t judge, we don’t discriminate, we’re there to help.
