About the role

Barrett Lane Sandwich Bar is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Sandwich Hand/All rounder to join our friendly team in Mornington, VIC. This part-time position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

Preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches, toasties and other menu items to our high standards

Ensuring all food preparation and service areas are kept clean, tidy and well-stocked

Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive, friendly demeanour

Assisting with general kitchen duties as required, such as food preparation, dishwashing and inventory management

Serving customers and preparing beverages.

Working collaboratively with the team to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the business

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a sandwich hand, kitchen hand or in a similar hospitality role

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to preparing food to high standards of quality and presentation

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

Good communication and problem-solving abilities

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

Food safety and handling certification (desirable)

Coffee experience an advantage, willing to train.
