We’re looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our team as we launch our new panini and toastie menu. The role involves preparing ingredients, assembling and cooking paninis and toasties, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and assisting with general food prep and restocking. We’re after someone who’s reliable, has a positive attitude, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment. Previous experience in a café or kitchen is preferred but not essential — we’re happy to train the right person. Newport 1881 is a well-loved local café known for great coffee, fresh food, and friendly service, and we’re excited to welcome someone who wants to grow with us.
