About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Kitchen Hands to join our growing team at East Coast Cookies' in Moorabbin, Victoria. As a fulltime Kitchen Hand, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and supporting our talented chef to deliver delicious, high-quality Cookies.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and portioning ingredients for use in recipes
• Assisting the chef with various kitchen tasks as needed
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitising surfaces
• Packing & boxing of cookies
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar role within the food industry
• Must have a good attitude, be reliable & hard-working for our fast paced, high volume kitchen
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
• Passion for the industry and a desire to contribute to the success of our business

Hours

Mon 6am to 3pm
Tues 6am to 2.30pm
Fri 6am to 11.30am

Salary

$25 - $28 per hour. Salary depending on experience
