About the role!
The Conference Coordinator role is varied and encompasses assistance in areas including program, abstract and speaker management, administration, audio visual, onsite management etc. The Managing Director and General Manager will determine what aspects of the various coordination will be involved with each specific conference as this is dependent on the size and nature of the clients.
The challenging role will require the following expertise:
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Strong ability to multi-task, attention to detail and work under pressure
Proficiency with Events Air, Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Ability to operate in an unsupervised environment
Flexibility to travel throughout Australia & New Zealand as required
Organisational support:
You will report directly to the Managing Director and General Manager who will also offer you support and guidance on a regular basis.

Selection criteria and remuneration:
Within your CV you will be able to highlight a genuine passion for the conference and event management industry, a degree in Event Management, any experience within a similar organisation alongside an understanding of client liaison and a team first mentality that ensure that we can collectively bring people together and a conference to life.
Remuneration will be negotiated in line with your experience.
