We’re looking for a Functions Coordinator with good Good & Beverage knowledge to join our team and take the lead in planning and delivering a wide variety of events – from weddings and conferences to special functions that showcase the best of our venue.

Yarra Valley Estate is a sustainable conference, wedding, and event venue set on 42 hectares of natural bush and farmland with spectacular views across the Yarra Valley.
The property hosts leading corporate, not-for-profit, government, private, and public groups. It is also home to the Edible Forest Yarra Valley which also includes kitchen gardens.

Nestled in the beautiful Yarra Valley, we’re renowned for delivering exceptional experiences to our guests. As an Functions Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring every event reflects our commitment to quality, consistency, and connection.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be the key link between clients, the kitchen, and front-of-house teams, ensuring every event runs seamlessly. You’ll coordinate everything from event planning and menu selection through to setup, execution, and post-event evaluation.
You’ll also play a key role in our marketing and social media promotions, helping us engage with guests and showcase our brand to the broader community.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and work with our team to deliver events that use our wide range of indoor and outdoor spaces from small gatherings to larger outdoor events.
Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure a smooth experience
Manage event logistics, including catering, setup, and guest requirements
Support content creation and social media promotions for upcoming events
Analyse event outcomes, gather feedback, and recommend improvements
What We’re Looking For
Someone with experience in Event coordination in a Hospitably setting preferably with a good understanding of food & beverage requirements
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Great communication and customer service skills
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
Experience with event or venue management systems
