Your new role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive and professional civil construction firm as a Project Engineer where you will support the Project Manager, as well as working closely with the broader team. Working collaboratively to ensure the successful delivery of large-scale developments for a significant rail and logistics project. This is your time to implement the skills and experience learned to date and rise up to deliver a high-level of project support across project controls, documentation management, scheduling, and reporting working in a live project environment where you will utilise your strong communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the coordination, and delivery of projects to meet agreed to timeframes.

Assist with project planning, scheduling, and project controls – including cost control

Preparation and management of project documentation and reporting

Manage/administer project defects and rectification process -otherwise manage QA/Compliance requirements in line with project requirements.

Preparing and submitting project handover documents such as project certifications and operations & maintenance manuals.

Liaising with Clients, Consultants, Suppliers & Contractors to ensure successful delivery of the program

The skills you will have to be successful.

Minimum 3-5+ years’ experience in a similar role as a Project Engineer, or Junior or Assistant Project Manager

A tertiary qualification in civil engineering or construction management or project management background

Experience managing multiple scheduling requirements for civil infrastructure projects

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines

Are committed to delivering project outcomes and work collaboratively to get the job done.

Strong negotiation, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
