About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in engaging businesses, building long-term relationships, and connecting employers with future talent. You’ll identify opportunities, present tailored solutions, and grow our client base by promoting the benefits of partnering with us for apprenticeships, traineeships, and recruitment services.
This is a dynamic role that combines business development, client management, and consultative sales, perfect for someone who enjoys meeting new people, problem solving, and achieving results that make a difference.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within mid-large sized employers
Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and industry partners.
Develop a balanced sales pipeline of prospective clients
Promote apprenticeship, traineeship, and recruitment solutions tailored to client needs.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
Proven experience in B2B sales - business development, minimum of 3 years.
Enthusiasm, drive and a love for closing the sale.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong ability to build rapport and long-term, mutually beneficial, long-term client relationships.
A self-motivated, proactive approach to sales, with the drive to achieve and exceed business goals.
Have an interest in workforce development, education, or community impact.
GTO/VET sector experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
Full C class NSW Driver licence
Hold a current NSW Working With Children Clearance or willing to obtain one. A WWCC is essential for this role.
