About Carers SA
Carers SA is the peak body for Carers in South Australia, advocating for greater recognition and improved support. We provide services and support for Carers of all ages and is the Statewide lead Carer Gateway provider.
Carers SA is a flexible, ethical, and inclusive organisation with dedicated staff located statewide, working to improve the health, wellbeing, and resilience of Carers. At Carers SA, you’ll join a professional team that values your contribution, supports work-life balance, and is committed to maintaining a child-safe environment.
About the Role
As the Multicultural Community Engagement Officer, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening Carers SA’s connection with South Australia’s diverse multicultural communities. You’ll bring:
Experience in community engagement, partnerships, or multicultural service delivery
Strong knowledge of multicultural communities and an understanding of the barriers to accessing services
Excellent communication and public speaking skills
A collaborative, respectful approach and the ability to build rapport across cultures
Competency in reporting, planning, and using CRM systems
