About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Service Manager (2IC) to support the leadership team at Busy Bees at Woolloongabba East. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Educator or Room Leader looking to step into a leadership role.

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will:

Support the Service Manager in leading and mentoring a team of educators

Step into the Service Manager role when required to ensure smooth daily operations

Assist with rostering, staffing, enrolments, and compliance requirements

Build strong partnerships with families, children, and the local community

Drive continuous improvement in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF)

Foster a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture

What You’ll Need

Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA recognised)

Previous leadership experience (e.g., Room Leader, 2IC, Educational Leader)

Strong understanding of EYLF, NQF, and compliance requirements

Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills

Ability to oversee daily operations and support staff performance

Current QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid & CPR
