We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property, Commercial, and Wills & Estate solicitor to join our office. Priority Legal Services is a growing law firm in Shailer Park specialising in conveyancing, property, commercial and wills & estate law.

We are seeking an admitted solicitor with at least 7 years post admission experience in commercial (leasing and business sales and purchases) wills & estate law conveyancing, property transactions not essential but preferred. The position is a full-time position available to start immediately (38 hours per week, 8.30am - 5pm).

You will be working alongside the Legal Directors, as well as an exceptionally experienced team of conveyancers.

You will be expected to work both autonomously and with the broader team in relaxed but professional environment, with client contact.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will possess the following:-

· 7+ years PAE in commercial and wills & estate law (conveyancing experience would be good but not necessary)

· Proven capacity to provide appropriate, timely, practical written and verbal legal advice

· Strong knowledge in the areas of commercial, residential and property contracts, leasing, property sales and purchases, including the preparation of applicable documentation

· Good work ethic, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills

· Ability to work autonomously and proactively, and manage own files to completion, but also proven ability to work as part of a team

· Time management, the ability to prioritise, and the ability to work with minimal supervision

· Positive, motivated, and professional attitude towards colleagues and clients

· Demonstrate a client-focused approach to work and able to build strong relationships with clients and referrers

Role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

· Preparing and Reviewing Leases

· Marketing Wills and EPOA’s to our clients

· Preparing Will and POA, as well as estate planning

· Preparing of Trusts

· Providing advice to our conveyancing team

· Reviewing Residential and Commercial Contracts

· Providing assistance on general matters to the Legal Directors
