Senior Associate – Wills & Estates

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Associate to join their Wills & Estates team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong, client-focused lawyer to take on a senior role with significant responsibility, including leading and mentoring a team.

The role:
As a Senior Associate in the Wills & Estates practice, you will:

Lead complex estate planning matters, including drafting wills, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents

Advise clients on succession planning, estate structuring, and related legal matters

Manage probate and letters of administration applications, including complex estate administrations

Oversee and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals, providing guidance and professional development

Liaise with clients, executors, and beneficiaries with professionalism, empathy, and discretion

Ensure accurate and compliant file management and documentation across your team

Contribute to the strategic growth of the Wills & Estates practice through client development and business initiatives

What we’re looking for:

A qualified lawyer with extensive experience in Wills & Estates, ideally at a senior level

Strong leadership skills, with experience managing or mentoring a team

Exceptional client relationship management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion

Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills

Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and contribute to a collaborative team environment
