Barwon Rheumatology is a long-established specialist medical clinic specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of joint pain and auto immune diseases.

Employment Opportunity

Part-Time Position 24 hours p/w – MON/WED/FRI 9am – 5pm

Opportunity to increase days as the practice expands.

Ability to work extra on an as needed basis – covering sick leave & annual leave

No weekends or public holidays

Onsite parking

About You

Our successful applicant will have exceptional organisational and communications skills with the ability to multitask on a daily basis

Secretarial or receptionist experience preferred (medical administration an advantage)

Previous experience with S4S Audit 4 software program would be an advantage but full training will be provided

Effective and professional communication both oral and written

Display initiative with a flexible and committed attitude

About The Role

Duties include:-

Provide high level secretarial support to our specialist doctors

Managing patient appointments and enquiries

Answering incoming phone calls in a polite and professional manner

Greeting and assisting patients

Responding to emails

Liaising with hospitals, referrers and other healthcare providers

Issuing invoices and receipts, processing Medicare claims, account enquiries, banking
