PART TIME 9 DAY FORTNIGHT

MEDICAL SECRETARY

TRAVEL TO RICHMOND ONE MORNING A FORTNIGHT

We have a role for a dedicated, experienced medical secretary to work for a highly regarded surgeon

You will work alongside an experienced medical secretary sharing most duties

Meet and greet

Run consulting sessions

Registering new patients

Preparing paper work for the surgeon, including chasing blood results and investigations

Hospital & theatre bookings

Assisting with minor operations in the rooms

Sterilising of instruments

Giving relevant paper work to the patient

IT skills - ( Gentu experience and advantage)

Dairy management

Theatre & Endosocpy

Organising of theatre lists

Liaising with hospitals and endoscopy centres, sending through lists and ordering any specific equipment or medication the surgeon requires

Organising assistants/anaesthetists for any ad hoc lists

Giving relevant paper work to the patient including blood request forms

Arranging surgical estimates for nil insured patients

Billings for surgical and consultations

Assisting with ultrasound procedures
