Role Description

This is a fulltime, hybrid (office & remote) role for a Pre Sales Engineer at REEMOON Sorting Equipment Australia. In this position, you will engage in various sales engineering tasks, including 2D CAD layout design, supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities, and collaborating closely with the sales team & our customers to understand their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the REEMOON HQ engineering team to create and maintain detailed drawings and layouts for a variety of projects in the Australian fruit and vegetable industry.

Assess the installation of REEMOON solutions, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and contract requirements.

Communicate effectively with clients to identify challenges and implement efficient solutions.

Assist project management efforts by coordinating with teams to ensure adherence to project timelines.

Travel interstate and internationally as required to oversee installations and testing, including visits to REEMOON HQ for ongoing training on new products and equipment.

Participate in inhouse training programs to stay current with the latest industry practices.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events.

Engineering degree or equivalent technical background preferred.

Qualifications:

Highly proficient in 2D CAD software & capable of producing 3D layout models (preferred, not essential)

Skilled in standard Microsoft Office applications.

Experience in sales engineering, customer support, or related fields.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.

Technical proficiency with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts clearly.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer focused approach.

Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Hands-on experience in manufacturing, fabrication, and installation would be an advantage.

Experience in maintaining safety standards and minimizing risks.

Fluency in Chinese/Mandarin is highly advantageous.
