We are seeking a motivated and experienced HSE Advisor to join our client’s team in a dynamic hybrid capacity, working between their Perth head office and conducting regular site visits to FMG Solomon.
In this role, you’ll be a key driver of health, safety, and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with legislative and client standards, while fostering a proactive safety culture across both corporate and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert HSE support and guidance to both corporate and site-based teams
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and initiatives
• Assist in incident investigations and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Facilitate HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talks
• Liaise with FMG representatives and subcontractors to maintain high safety standards
• Maintain HSE documentation and reporting in accordance with company and client requirements

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a HSE Advisor or similar role
• Strong knowledge of WA OHS legislation, mining regulations, and industry standards
• Experience working on remote mining or construction sites (FMG experience highly regarded)
• Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and travel regularly to site
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to pass site medicals and inductions

On Offer

• Start Date - 13th October
• Perth based hourly rate - $70 Per Hour + Super
• FIFO Rate - $85 Per Hour + Super
• Weekly Pay
• Approximately 8 weeks work
• Potential for ongoing work across future projects
