About the role

We are seeking experienced HSE Consultants to join the team at HSEQ Logic' for a range of local and remote opportunities. Consultants will be responsible for providing high-quality health, safety and environmental support during shutdowns, projects and other scopes within the business. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of world-class HSEQ scopes and work within a diverse range of clients and industry sectors.

What you'll bring to the team

Provide hands-on technical HSE advisory support to project and customer teams

Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation, standards and client requirements

Ability to Identify, assess and mitigate HSE risks associated with technical work scopes

Delivery of targeted HSE training, education sessions and toolbox talks to our clients

Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence - (5W, TapRoot or ICAM) Prefered ICAM but not essential

Conduct workplace inspections and field engagements to ensure optimal HSE performance

Provide guidance in the implementation of risk management and assurance strategies

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive continuous improvement in HSE performance

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualifications in health, safety, environmental science or a related discipline

2+ years of experience as an HSE Advisor. Preference to be within the mining, resources, engineering or heavy industry sectors but not essential.

Proven track record of providing effective HSE support. Particularly in complex and changing work environments.

Sound knowledge of relevant WHS, environmental and industry-specific legislation and standards

Comfort with working away from home periodicly as required.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes

Current Australian driver's licence and the ability to obtain the necessary site access permits

Sole traders or consultancy businesses who hold a current Australian Business Number (ABN).
