The Role

As our BDM, you’ll play a key role in identifying opportunities, winning new work, and building long-term partnerships that expand Jones Engineering’s reach.

You will:

Identify and secure new business opportunities across target industries

Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with company objectives

Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships

Prepare tailored proposals, quotes, and presentations

Negotiate contracts and deliver revenue growth targets

Collaborate with operations and project teams for seamless service delivery

Provide market insights to support innovation and service development

What We’re Looking For

Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management

Industry experience in engineering, manufacturing, labour hire, fabrication, or services (highly regarded)

Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

Commercially astute with problem-solving ability

Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel
