We are currently seeking motivated individuals to commence a Mechanical Trade Fitter Apprenticeship (Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade) with one of our valued host employers.
About the Role
This is a full-time apprenticeship (minimum 38 hours/week) where you will work towards completing your Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade while gaining hands-on experience on real projects. You will be paid according to the relevant award unless otherwise advised.
Your Responsibilities
Fit, assemble, and maintain mechanical equipment and components
Operate and service a range of machinery and tools
Interpret technical drawings and specifications
Carry out routine inspections, fault finding, and repairs
Always follow workplace health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
A genuine interest in mechanical and engineering trades
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
Physically fit and able to perform trade-related tasks
Essential Requirements
Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport (P’s acceptable)
White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
Ability to pass a drug & alcohol screening
Pre-vocational training in engineering (advantageous but not essential)
