Hercus Pty Ltd is currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter who has experience working on Gearbox's / Pumps and other mechanical products.

You will possess the following:

• Trade qualification in "Certification III in Engineering" is preferred, however an applicant with relevant work experience are also ask to apply for this position
• An understanding of the fitting of all forms of bearings / seals etc is essential.
• Problem solving & machining experience background would be an advantage
• Able to comprehensively read and understand engineering drawings.
• Able to use measuring instruments (working with metric and imperial measurements)
• Be prompt, reliable, efficient & ability to effectively work unsupervised.
• Have a professional attitude and a sound work ethic.
• Comply with our OHS standards

Hercus Pty Ltd is heavily involved in providing products to the mining, manufacturing, agriculture, food production, aquaculture and power generation sectors; which in turns provides a variety of different fitting opportunities from week to week

Permanent position, and 4 1/2 day working week is being offered (allows for an early start to the weekend)
