What You'll Do

Lead mechanical maintenance, repair and fault‑finding across production machinery (conveyors, pumps/valves, ancillary equipment).

Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programmes and respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.

Assist with equipment installation, commissioning and upgrades/modifications.

Collaborate with production, engineering, hygiene and WHS teams to ensure plant performance, food‑safety compliance and safe operations.

Maintain maintenance logs, parts usage, and monitor consumables/tools.

Work on a rostered shift basis (including early/late/night shifts) and respond to urgent maintenance requirements as needed.

What You'll Bring

Trade‑qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III Engineering – Mechanical or equivalent).

Minimum ~5 years' experience in an industrial/manufacturing maintenance role (food‑processing experience highly desirable).

Strong fault‑finding and mechanical skills: conveyors, hydraulics/pneumatics, pumps/valves, welding/fabrication advantageous.

Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently and under pressure in a high‑throughput environment.

Comfortable working in cold/hygienic processing zones and adhering to food‑safety / bio‑security / WHS protocols.

Valid driver's licence.

Valid forklift licence (High Risk Work Licence – Class LF or equivalent) required.

Readiness for shift work and immediate availability preferred.
